Ask for All the Gusto

How many of us choose not to speak up, lean in and ask for what we want out of life?

will be honest and say that many times I get intimidated and tend swim with the crowd. I was taught not to rock the boat at a very early age. Now I see that staying silent about important things didn’t help me grow as a person. The times that I did speak up and voice my convictions became huge turning points in my life and strengthened my faith. I am reminded of Moses who said “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” Exodus 4:10. Yet God gave him strength and he was used in a mighty way.

Be encouraged today and this weekend.

Go for the gusto in all you do.
