How many of us choose not to speak up, lean in and ask for what we want out of life?
I will be honest and say that many times I get intimidated and tend swim with the crowd. I was taught not to rock the boat at a very early age. Now I see that staying silent about important things didn’t help me grow as a person. The times that I did speak up and voice my convictions became huge turning points in my life and strengthened my faith. I am reminded of Moses who said “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” Exodus 4:10. Yet God gave him strength and he was used in a mighty way.
Be encouraged today and this weekend.
Go for the gusto in all you do.
