As you plan for the year ahead, don’t be afraid to look at mistakes that you’ve made in the past. Reflecting on those times, without beating yourself up about it, will bring you to a greater understanding. Look at it all and jot down what you wish you had done differently. As you do this, you will be setting yourself up for success. Plan to succeed in all you do. Put it in writing.
“The surest way not to fail is to determine to succeed.
Richard Brinsley Sheridan
“How prone to doubt, how cautious are the wise!”
“No man was ever wise by chance.”
“With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.”
Learning by our mistakes makes us a better person and a wiser one too. I hope that you take some time this weekend to reflect and plan. I will be doing the same. Taking into account the things that did not go well last year and putting a plan in place to make 2013 a better year.
