Words with Friends

Words are possibly the strongest persuasive method to hurt or encourage man.

 Mother Teresa says that

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”

Benjamin Franklin speaks of the opposite effect of words.

“A slip of the foot you may soon recover, but a slip of the tongue you may never get over.”

Wise words I must say.   My desire is to walk in wisdom and not foolishness.  I want to share good & wise words with friends, not hurtful ones.  Yet there are times when my actions are in line but my mouth escapes the chains like a dog and bolts!

I am not going to go on and on about how keep from letting your words hurt anyone or 5 ways to curb your tongue.  I don’t have answers on this one.  But I do know that I will get up each day, say my prayers and  hope to not hurt anyone with my words.  I will try to speak kind words to those in my world.
